Camp Joybound (Summer Week 7)

Let’s inspire the next generation of animal lovers! We’re welcoming students ages 9 – 14 years old to Camp Joybound!

This award-winning, weeklong camp at Joybound’s Walnut Creek headquarters introduces students to the worlds of veterinary medicine and animal care, providing hands-on experience with dogs and cats in a fun and instructive environment.

Throughout the week, your child will learn alongside, shadow, and engage in hands-on care with our clinic, animal care, training, and adoption experts. It’s perfect for students with a passion for animal care and wellness, life sciences, and medicine.

Campers will:

• Meet veterinarians and animal care experts to learn about their backgrounds, career pathways, and ask questions about their work
• See how surgery takes place and how to provide the best care for dog and cat wellbeing
• Learn techniques for dog and cat training, safety, and animal guardianship education
• And much more!

• Date & Time: Monday, August 3 @ 9:00 AM – Friday, August 7 @ 2:00 PM
• Cost: Camp Joybound’s fees are $500 per camper.
• Age Range: Camp Joybound is open to children ages 9 – 14.
