Description

This course strengthens observational drawing skills through quick gesture sketches and longer sustained poses. Students will practice techniques such as blocking, foreshortening, value development, and shape recognition to improve accuracy when drawing the human form. Beginners are encouraged to bring vine charcoal, an 18×24 rough newsprint pad, and a drawing board to the first class. Additional supply information will be provided during the session. Experienced students should bring their preferred materials. Please note that models will be undraped.ts.
