NEW Art Women Carry: Tiffany, Klimt and Borromean Influence

This session is a continuation of learning structures that invite putting pen to paper, calming the noise that surrounds us. This radial-based work is done on round paper “tiles”. Students will make a book that carries the finished tiles. Beginners welcome. Students bring Micron Pens, colored pencils or watercolor and a small sketchbook for notes.

• Bio: Elaine Wegenka is a retired Foothill teacher. She taught literature and history. In addition to absolutely loving her time spent with 7th graders, she has a broad art background and understands the importance of a creative outlet. Elaine has been a certified zentangle teacher for seven years. Elaine is especially skilled working with those who long to be artistic and simply don’t know where to begin, who feel awkward about even trying. She’s often found with dear friends at her favorite French coffee shop on Locust where they know her by name.
