Description

This course introduces students to classical Western painting techniques using either oils or acrylics. Students will learn processes such as underpainting, grisaille, layering, and glazing to create controlled three‑dimensional effects. No prior painting experience is required, though basic drawing skills are helpful. By the end of this course, students will build a strong technical foundation and complete paintings that demonstrate these traditional methods.
