Description
This class introduces students to foundational floor‑loom techniques while exploring pattern, color, and texture through the creation of a sampler. Students will learn key weaving terminology, project planning, warping methods, and basic weave structures, making it well‑suited for beginners or anyone seeking confidence with warping and planning. Continuing students may advance at their own pace and explore additional weave structures. The materials list is available at www.communityarts.org/materials. - Bio: Reba Siero loves all things related to fiber. Her interests include knitting, crochet, embroidery, spinning, hand-dyeing of both fabric and yarn, sewing, quilting, weaving and more recently, machine knitting. She brings her math and science background into play as she learns new techniques and finds creative ways to share her love of her various crafts with others.
