This class introduces students to the fundamentals of glass fusing, covering safety, glass compatibility, cutting tools, construction techniques, kiln use, and the stages of kiln forming. Students will complete several small projects while gaining the technical skills needed to move into intermediate‑level courses at the Center for Community Arts. By the end of the class, students will have finished pieces and a solid foundation for continued study. Students should wear long pants and closed‑toe shoes to all sessions.
