Description

This course builds on Write Your Novel 101 and is designed for students who already have a draft in progress. Students will deepen their skills in character arcs, subplots, pacing, scene construction, emotional resonance, and self‑editing. These tools are applied through guided chapter reviews, so students can learn how to evaluate their own work and strengthen their manuscripts as they draft.

  • Event Location: Art 3 (SH-M)
  • Course ID: 82617
  • Instructor: Gala Russ
  • Bio: With almost a dozen romance novels under her belt, Gala has navigated the often overwhelming journey of writing, editing, and publishing. As an experienced teacher and project manager, she uses her strengths of clearly explaining concepts and organizing projects (and a book is a long-term project), to guide writers in finishing their novels. Through workshops, small-group coaching, and one-on-one sessions, Gala empowers writers to craft stories that captivate readers while staying true to their creative vision.
