Jazz Ballet Tap - BEG

Explore the energy and excitement of dance as you try out jazz, ballet, and tap in a fun and supportive environment. Students will be introduced to jazz, ballet, and tap while building a strong foundation in coordination and rhythm. Students will explore movement through structured lessons that support skill development and creative learning. Students should wear tights and a leotard in any color. A skirt is optional. Ballet and tap shoes are required, and hair should be secured away from the face.

• Bio: Studio 8 was founded in 2004 by Director, Vanessa Medve. Studio 8 is a dance studio in Alamo California that offers dance classes for toddlers to adults. Studio 8 teaches technical skills while also building confidence. Students will learn artistry, technique, and self-expression. Studio 8's strives to provide a healthy and positive experience! At Studio 8 we encourage, nurture, and provide a comfortable environment for students to learn. We believe in the importance of being a good role model for children. We consider this role when selecting music, costuming, and choreography, all of which are age-appropriate. Our professionally trained and dedicated teaching staff is focused on teaching proper technique, body placement, and poise while encouraging self-confidence and camaraderie in a fun, non-competitive environment.
