Description

Celebrate the fall season with performative storytelling, movement and fun dance games. Students will improve rhythm and body awareness as they embrace creative movement and self-expression. From leaf storms to forest missions, dancers stay active and engaged while building coordination, rhythm, and confidence. Along the way, they grow creativity, teamwork, and self-expression—all in a joyful space where imagination comes to life through dance. This class is well-suited for beginners or students curious about dance.

  • Event Location: Dance 2 (SH-M)
  • Course ID: 83793
  • Instructor: Solace Fiadjoe
  • Bio: I am a choreographer, dance instructor, and teaching artist with many years of experience working with children, youth, and adults in schools, after-school programs, and community settings. My choreography blends contemporary, hip-hop, and cultural styles, and my teaching approach encourages creativity, collaboration, and confident self-expression. I am involved in choreographing and directing four to five community performances annually and serve as choreographer and dance instructor for 'Joy – The Urban Nutcracker' an annual production held in a 1,800-seat theater in Pittsburg. As a BCAT-certified professional, I use the performing arts as a tool to support communication, social, and adaptive skills for students with special needs and autism. With a background in visual arts—including painting, sculpture, textiles, and metal design—I bring a multidisciplinary approach that helps students develop skills, confidence, and artistic growth.
