Digital Foundations: Block Coding & 3D Design

In Digital Foundations, young learners from grades K-2 take their first steps into coding and digital design. Using block-based coding in Scratch, students bring characters to life — animating movement, sound, and simple interactions — building the exact coding skills they'll use later in our robotics classes. Then, they explore the world of 3D design in Tinkercad, learning to create their own digital objects, setting the stage for future adventures in AR/VR and 3D printing. Along the way, students develop sequencing, creative thinking, and the confidence to bring their ideas to life through technology.
