In AR/VR, Game Design & Robotics, students from grades 3-5 embark on a full year of hands-on digital creation and engineering.

The year begins with 3D Design & AR/VR — students become digital designers, modeling their own objects in Tinkercad, then bringing their creations to life in augmented and virtual reality using Delightex and Merge Cube. They explore their digital worlds on screen, in VR, and in AR, developing spatial thinking and 3D design skills along the way.

In January, students dive into game design, building their own playable creations (e.g. Escape Room and Obby Course) using Minecraft Education Edition, the official learning platform that lets students design games for other kids to play. Along the way, they learn coding fundamentals like loops, conditionals, and variables.

The school year wraps up with Next Level Robotics, where students take their engineering skills up a notch — building and programming robots to move, sense, and complete hands-on projects that push their creativity and problem-solving abilities. New this year: students will design a solution to a real-world problem, build and code a robot model of their product, and present their solution to the class.

Across the year, students develop spatial thinking, coding fundamentals, and engineering skills — building the confidence and creativity to design, build, and problem-solve in any digital or physical space.
