Let me introduce myself.... I have been in education for over 20 years. In addition to being an elementary and middle school band director, I have also served as an elementary classroom teacher, Instructional Literacy Coach, and in professional development. I have a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Music Education from the University of Redlands and a Masters in Education (MA) in Educational Administration from the University of Redlands. Band is offered to all 4th and 5th grade students in the district at each school site two times per week during the school day. Instruments offered for instruction are: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone and bells/drum kit.
I look forward to teaching beginning instrumentalists how to play their instrument, read music, work together as a team and love music!
