California Bakeshop is a woman-owned, second-generation community bakery specializing in naturally leavened breads, empanadas, pastries, and cookies. We use organic, unbleached flour from local mills and source our produce from trusted local vendors within the markets we serve. We believe in a symbiotic relationship—supporting one another and helping small businesses grow together. What makes our products unique is that each one tells a story—every recipe comes from a family favorite or a memory from my childhood. They are inspired by the people, places, and feelings that shaped me growing up. Certain products also help me keep the memory of those who inspired them alive, allowing their stories to live on through our baking.
