Ygnacio Canal Trail to Labyrinth Loop

Starting from the Ygnacio Canal Trail, this short loop climbs into Lime Ridge Open Space before winding through the area's distinctive Labyrinth trail network. Along the way you'll hike through rolling grasslands and native chaparral, with panoramic views of Walnut Creek and the surrounding Diablo Foothills.

This 2-mile loop features 380 feet of elevation gain, making it a great option for a shorter hike with rewarding scenery. The route's winding singletrack, open hillsides, and unique labyrinth-inspired trail layout offer a fun and memorable way to explore one of Lime Ridge's most distinctive areas.
